Event Arrival & Parking Instructions

Before You Arrive

Print Your Pass: You must print your Competitor Parking Pass before heading to the venue. Presenting this pass at Lot A fee booth grants you free parking.
Have Your Confirmation Ready: Keep your event/competition confirmation email accessible on your phone or printed out. You will need to present this to gain entry.

Directions & Parking

Destination: Navigate to Lot A at the American Royal Complex (1701 American Royal Ct, Kansas City, MO).
Parking: Pull into Lot A and display your printed Competitor Parking Pass to the lot attendant and leave on your dashboard in your vehicle.

Entering the Venue

Building Access: You may enter the facility through either end of the Central Hall (orange) or via the temporary drop-off lane (red font around blue Governor’s Expo).
Gaining Entry: Doors to the expo hall remain secured. To be let inside, simply knock on the doors near where the dock is labelled or enter on either end of the central hall, which will be unlocked as it these are the general population entrances.
- Security personnel stationed at the doors will let you in if you knock.
- Because the dock is located right next to the doors, Dock Dogs staff will also easily hear your knock.
Show Proof: Show your event confirmation email to the security team upon entering.
