Episode 35 is here and we’re right around the corner from the 2013 DockDogs World Championships! In this episode we’ll hear from Grant Reeves, CEO of DockDogsĀ®Ā Inc on the topics of theĀ Golden Paw Awards, Thank You’s for such a tremendous season and last but not least our support for our 3 officially recognized charities —Ā B.A.A.R.K. Foundation,Ā Team21, andĀ Chase Away K-9 Cancer. Welcome to Rocky Mountain DockDogs! We are a regional affiliate club of the Worldwide DockdogsĀ® organization that was formed in August 2008. We Ā mainly cover Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska but we donāt discriminateĀ andĀ we welcome members from all over the country! ItĀ doesnātĀ matter what breed of dog you have or if you know your dog will jump; we just like to have fun! DockDogsĀ® is the fastest growing dog sport in the world and we host events in our region as well as attend national events as far as we can drive. As a club we raise money for many different causes like Chase Away Canine Cancer and to get pet oxygen masks in every fire station. Member benefits include discounted club merchandise, practices/seminars and logo decals, as well as discounts from our sponsorsĀ and select business partners.

We are always looking for new members and volunteers, because without you we couldnāt put on these amazing events! We ask that dogs be at least 6 months old and handlers be at least 7 years old.Ā It is a must to know that your dog knows how to swim even if they arenāt confident yet and enjoys water before attending an event or practice to assure that you and your dog have fun!Ā We run DockDogs 101 practices for new dogs and handlers about once a month in the winter and every few months in the summer.
