Medina Ohio: February 27, 2017, DOCKDOGS IS PLEASED T0 ANNOUNCE THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ITS NEW PILOT PROGRAM FOR THE EXCLUSIVE SANCTIONED FACILITY HOUSE LEAGUE SERIES FOR 2017 SPRING AND SUMMER SEASON.
Grant Reeves, CEO of DockDogs® Worldwide is excited to announce the newest Road To Worlds opportunity, the “Exclusive Sanctioned Facility DogHouse League”. The ever-growing Sanctioned Facility program will be hosting these League events from May 15th thru July 15th which will provide two (2) divisional invites through the DogHouse League Rankings to the 2017 DockDogs® World Championships. “The DogHouse League will be very appealing to new as well as seasoned competitors for many reasons.”, commented Mr. Reeves. “They will bring an avenue for the Road To Worlds that will be convenient to those Clubs that support the Facility program while allowing new local competitors to experience a lower intensity competition. It also offers a chance for them to earn Titles, win awards and prizes, as well as enjoying the camaraderie and social aspects of belonging to a League.”
The DogHouse League, with its name derived from the infamous term “DogTown” where all the teams usually gather during regular competitions, will run four (4) league nights during an eight (8) week period and is scored as a Wildcard event where the top team within each division of each discipline (Big Air; Speed Retrieve; Extreme Vertical & Iron Dog), based on rankings, are eligible for a 2017 DockDogs® World Championship invite, the remaining top teams in each division/discipline will be placed into a lottery with one additional randomly selected invite being awarded the second invite from those teams. Weeks will alternate with a minimum of one (1) Big Air and either Extreme Vertical or Speed Retrieve wave being included. Competitors/Teams must attend three (3) of the four (4) to be eligible for a 2017 DockDogs® World Championship invite.
