Important Announcements from Dogz Events! š¾ April 2024
For those of you that are new to DockDogs and those who may have forgotten what The B.A.A.R.K. Foundation is all about, I would like to explain.
The B.A.A.R.K. Foundation was put in place to help those in the DockDogs community who have suffered a devastating blow to their personal lives or have fallen on hard times.
We all hope that this never happens to you or one of our competitors but life deals some hard hands that we have to play.
The Foundation has helped a father see his 2 year old daughter that was dealing with the chemotherapy treatments for leukemia. Still having to take care of other children in the family a parent needed to go with her to another state to seek the best treatment possible to save their young childās life and comfort the fears associated with this terrible disease. Airfare was needed and The B.A.A.R.K. Foundation jumped in.
A family is told that the breadwinner of the family has cancer. High medical bills and income being dropped down to one brought a lot of added anxieties and stress. B.A.A.R.K. was there for support and financial help.
Maybe we can ease the burden by paying a bill or just helping members get back on their feet when a fire destroys a home or family business. We cannot make the problems go away but we can help those in our community that need assistance when needed.
B.A.A.R.K. collects donations at events, on our website and through our members for our Championship Jump-A-Thon (coming soon to your region).
