DOCKDOGS COMPETITOR ARRIVAL & DOGTOWN
Morning Arrival – Gate C
DockDogs competitors should enter through Gate C and follow the designated road directly to Dogtown for unloading and setup.
Please note that this road will only be open to competitor traffic in the morning until 10:00 AM. Competitors arriving during this window may drive to Dogtown to unload their tents, kennels, equipment, food, etc., before moving their vehicles to the appropriate parking area.
Midday Arrival – Gate B
The road to Dogtown will be closed from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM.
Competitors arriving during this time should enter through Gate B and may unload their belongings there. They can then park in either the paid parking area or the designated free volunteer/vendor parking area.
We will have a wagon available to assist competitors with transporting their equipment from Gate B to Dogtown.
Vehicle & Kenneling Setup
Competitors are welcome to work out of either their tent or their vehicle. Any vehicle that is not being actively used as part of the team’s setup/work area must be moved to the alternate parking area so that we can maintain adequate space around Dogtown and the event grounds.
TENTS – IMPORTANT
All tents must be properly staked and weighted. Any tent that is not adequately secured will be required to be removed. This is especially important given the outdoor location and potential for changing weather conditions.
