TWDD is offering 2 rounds of Extreme Vertical. This will allow two handlers to compete with one dog in EV and IronDog! This requires some additional rules that will govern this facet of the competition.

A dog may compete in Extreme Vertical in both EV 1 and EV 2.

A dog may only be registered once per EV round.

In the event that the dog is being handled by two different handlers, the team must declare which team is competing for placement awards, recorded score, AND Iron Dog score and which team is competing ONLY for the recorded score and Iron Dog Score prior to the start of EV round 1. This is similar to Speed Retrieve.

If a second handler registers a dog that is registered for EV round 1 for EV round 2 after the start ofround 1, the Round 2 score will only count for the recorded score and Iron Dog Score and NOT for awards and prizing.

A dog is only eligible for prizing with one handler in IronDog. The highest score eligible for IronDog divisional prizing will receive the placement recognition.

Example 1: Gwen and Kington have a Titan title and score 2925.75 which is  second in Titan and third overall. Steve and Kingston have Warrior title and 2799.99 which is first for Warrior. Gwen and Kingston receive the ribbon and prize for Titan  and $25 for third  overall.

Example 2: Gwen and Kington have a Spartan title and score 2925.75 which is below their title and third overall. Steve and Kingston have a Warrior title and 2799.99 which is first for Warrior. Gwen and Kingston are not eligible for prizing. Steve and Kingston receive prizing for first place Warrior.

Example 3: Gwen and Kington have a Titan title and score 2825.75 which is 9th in Titan. Steve and Kingston have a Warrior title and 2799.99 which is first for Warrior. Gwen and Kingston rank too low in Titan for prizing. Steve and Kingston receive prizing for first place Warrior.
