Location:   The Dock Dogs pool will be setup, outside, in the center of the Washington State Fair Grounds, west of the Coca Cola Stage and South of the Extreme Scream Ride.  Please be advised that the setup has been moved from its previous location in the Centennial tent.  There will be maps available at the gates with the location listed.  If you visit the Dock Dogs section of our webpage, you will also be able to see a map of the location. Please visit (http://www.thefair.com/fun/details/dockdogsa-iddocka

Parking:   Parking is free in all of the Fair’s non-reserved parking lots.  We recommend parking in the Purple, Orange or Green lots for easier access to the Orange Gate Entrance.

Entrance into the Fair:  When arriving at the Fair, please enter through the Orange Gate on the West side of the Grounds.  A volunteer from Dock Dogs will be there, outside the gate, to complete your registration and to hand out wristbands to competitors.

The Kenneling Area:  This will be setup next to the Dock Dogs Pool at the South End of the designated area.  There will be a tent, dog relief area and access to water.  Please remember to clean up after your dogs; bags will not be provided.  Pop up tents are only allowed to be setup in the kenneling area, but space is limited and the tents must be compliant with International Fire Code Section 24.  The floor of the kenneling area will be concrete, so tents will need to be weighted down.  In the event of wind, tents must be lowered to prevent them from being blown away.  Any tent that does not comply with fire code, or is deemed a hazard by Fair staff will be ordered to be removed.

Dogs on the Fair Grounds:  Dogs are only allowed on the Fair Grounds if they are competing in the Dock Dogs Competition or if they are a qualified ADA service animal.

Please do not leave dogs unattended and unsupervised in the kenneling area.
