  1. You will need to enter the Common St Gate. This is the ONLY gate you may enter with a Dog. Any other gate you try to enter will not let you in because you have a dog. The Common St gate is about 200 yards past the main parking lot. You will be able to drive up and drop your stuff off and go park. Parking is $5.00 per day and we must pay to park.
  2. When you enter through the Common St Gate, you will be able to purchase a special wrist band that is good for the entire weekend. You will need to purchase this wristband to enter the event / festival or pay the regular festival entry, which is much higher. Special DockDogs Wristband price is $20 for all 3 days or $15 for Friday; $20 for Saturday or $10 for Sunday.
  3. No dogs in the festival itself. The fairgrounds does not permit dogs, so they have gotten special permission for DockDogs to be in our own fenced off area (hence the special entrance). Dogs must stay in dogtown around the DD pool and be leashed unless on the dock.
  4. You MUST have a copy of your dogs shot records. This is not a DockDogs policy, but a city of New Braunfels requirement. They had to get a special permit to have dogs at this event. There will be a member of the local Health Department on site, who will be checking shot records throughout the weekend! This is not optional. DockDogs has added this requirement to the event registration page. Dogs without current shot records will be asked to leave the event.
  5. Coolers are allowed in the event, but NO alcohol may be in the coolers. You may buy alcohol at the event. We need to make sure respecting and following this policy.
  6. We may leave tents and such overnight, at our own risk. There will be security, but they are not responsible for our tents etc.
  7. There is no electricity access. DD will for their computers and sound, but not competitors.

If this event is success the organizer is considering making DockDogs an annual part of the festival. Regarding drop off: Drop off of your items must occur no later then 1 hour before the gates open. So on Friday, you must drop your stuff off by 4:30pm; Saturday drop off is between 8am-10am; Sunday drop off is between 8am -11am. You can always carry your stuff in, but if you are hoping to drop your items off close to Our entrance gate you must do it within the time frames listed above. The organizer says it is because there can not be vehicle traffic around the entrance gates during the event. Please plan accordingly.

No tent stakes; must use sandbags or buckets of water to weight tents.
